Requirements

Generally, information regarding the procuring of a visa to Chile seem to be very limited. But the very short list below are documents you should make ready when applying for a visa to Chile.

  1. Chilean visa application form properly filled, completely and duly signed(this should be provided after contact has been made with the embassy at Nairobi).

  2. Original Passport with at least 6 months validity, and a blank page for the visa stamp.

  3. Two recent passport size colored photographs (size 1 ½”)

  4. Invitation letter signed by the inviting party

  5. Letter from employer or sponsoring company written on company letterhead, indicating the applicant's employment status/position held in the company, and clearly stating the purpose of visit to Chile.

  6. A police certificate of good conduct, indicating a clear criminal record.

  7. Proof of sufficient funding to support your stay in Chile

  8. Your bank statement for the last three months

  9. Flight Itinerary with dates and flight numbers specifying entry and departure from Chile.

  10. Accommodation/hotel reservation for the whole duration of the intended stay in Chile.

  11. International Vaccination Certificate

It takes about one month for the visa to be processed, you would be required to send scanned copies of the required documents to a designated email address that would be provided when you contact the embassy in Nairobi.
