About Fajuyi Memorial Park
Located in the state capital, in memory of the Late Col. Adekunle Fajuyi who was killed during the first military coup in Nigeria and is the final resting place of the late soldier. If you are interested in getting enlightened in Adekunle Fajuyi’s exploits and the events leading to the civil war in Nigerian history then this is the right place to be. The park has a fountain, game arcade, children playground, mini-museum/archival centre, restaurant/bar and GSM telephone booths for visitors and tourists. Adekunle Fajuyi Park is located at Ekiti which is in the South-West region of the country. This region experience two seasons which are the rainy and dry season. The rainy season come heavily from the month of May, June, July. While the dry season usually comes between the month of October up until April.
