History of Medview Airline
Medview Airline was founded in 2007 by Sheik Abdulmohsen Al-Athunayan. It's initial?operations involved charter flights in Nigeria, with a sole focus on Hajj rescue operations for stranded?Muslim pilgrimages in?various parts of the country. The airline would continue to carry out the rescue missions under the umbrella of the National Hajj commission (NAHCON) for five years. By November 2012, Medview Airline began to expand its flight services beyond Hajj missions to include scheduled commercial flights into certain locations in Nigeria. Now, the airline has broadened its reach into both domestic and international destinations in countries like Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, and the United Kingdom. Medview Airline operates first class, business, and economy flights. The airline is based in Lagos, Nigeria, and is currently listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

The Blue Flyer membership is on three levels, beginning with bronze, then proceeding to the silver level and then the gold level. The membership levels are only valid for a year which ends on the last day of December. They can be renewed on the first day of the following year. The levels can be maintained or downgraded as the case may be.

Deposits and Discounts
Travel agencies are required to make initial deposits to Medview Airline so that they can access the airline?s portal and get sales on tickets. Discounts are split based on the deposit. There is a 5% discount on deposits between N200,000 ? N500,000, 7% discount on N1,500,000 ? N3,000,000, and 10% on N3,500,000 and above.
Refunds
Only ticket fares on Full Economy and Business class are refundable. Other fares published by the airline are non-refundable. In the case of cancellations or inability to make a scheduled flight by the airline, or the airline?s closure of some routes, the travel agency will be refunded fully.
Children
The rate for children and infants are 75% and 10% of the stipulated adult fee.
