History of Maryland Mall
The construction of this Mall started in September 2014 and ended on April 2016. The construction of this world class retail centre took about 20 months at a cost of 25 million dollars. This structure was financed by Stanbic IBTC and AXA Mansard, and executed by Purple Capital Partners Limited. It was built at the location of the former Maryland Shopping Centre.This Mall is believed to have the largest LED screen in Sub-Saharan Africa. Its strategic location allows it serve the shopping and leisure needs of the people residing in Maryland, Mende, Ikeja, Anthony, and Ilupeju environs. At its inception, it offered a breath of fresh air for shoppers on the mainland.
