Situation update of corona virus in Nigeria
The number of confirmed cases of corona virus in Nigeria increases daily and It is becoming increasingly evident that we are all at risks in contracting the corona virus so we should all be prepared if the inevitable happens. As of 23rd March, NCDC has confirmed 36 cases of corona virus in Nigeria, spreading across 6 states; 24 cases of corona virus in Lagos, 7 cases in?FCT, 2 cases in Ogun, 1 case in Ekiti, 1 case in Oyo, and 1 case in Edo.
Things to do if you have corona virus
The corona virus symptoms include: fever, runny nose, cough, sore throat, and shortness of breath ranging from mild to severe as the case may be. At any point you notice any of these symptoms, the following are the necessary procedures you should follow:
- Stay at home and avoid close contact with people around you.
- Maintain a healthy diet and eat food/fruits that boost the immune system.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in a covered bin and wash your hands with soap and water. Use an alcohol-based sanitizer if no water and soap is available.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
