Ilorin International Airport is located in Ilorin, the capital city of Kwara State in Nigeria. It was commissioned on February 16, 1978. Since the airport began operating, commercial activities in Ilorin and other cities in Kwara State have increased. The domestic airport opened up Kwara State to air migration and commerce.
