Applicants of this visa are required to present original certificates they obtain from the schools they attended previously. If you will be accompanied by your family member you can apply on their behalf in your own application. Proof of payment of visa fee is required. The documents to be submitted should be in English or Swedish.

Egypt student visa is awarded to international students who want to stay in Egypt for the purpose of study. This visa is usually valid for six months. If you desire to study in Egypt, you must carry a genuine passport or travel document with validity of a minimum of one year. When you secure the student visa, you are not allowed to work with it. Basically, you can only get the Egypt student visa after you have arrived in Egypt. The Egyptian immigration authorities have only established the tourist visa. Hence, you would travel to Egypt with the tourist visa then upgrade to student visa upon your arrival. Egypt is a conservative country where it is a crime to engage in premarital intercourse and homosexuality. School authorities in Egypt also warn students to cover their bodies and take alcohol only at authorized bars. Most universities provide their students with some form of student housing. This may or may not appeal to you, depending on your social habits. But the apartments are fairly conducive to male and female hostels located far away from each other. The cost of living in Cairo is very low compared to Europe or America. Egyptian universities require students to take a HIV test before they arrive.

A visa is required to study in Malta for a period longer than 90 days. The Consulate of Malta requires applicants to apply for student visas directly — a personal appearance may be necessary at the nearest Consulate. The Maltese student visa may take up to 2-3 months to be issued. Unlike the visit visa, the student visa offers a longer duration. A holder of the visa can stay in Malta for as long as their study curriculum permits. Please note that non-EU/EEA nationals will not be able to obtain a visa to enter Malta if they apply for part-time day/ evening courses. Following arrival and registration at the University, ALL international students who stay for more than 3 months (ie. 90 days) should apply for an e-Residence Permit. When consulates require an appointment, this may need to be scheduled as much as 4 to 6 weeks in advance because appointment times are limited and fill quickly. After the appointment, the visa processing time may take an additional 1 to 4 weeks. Therefore, it could take as long as between 8 to 9 weeks from the time of application to when visa is finally issued.

The Indian student visa is given to bona fide Nigerians who wish to pursue regular studies at a recognized institution in India. India’s higher education system is highly centralized and undergoing large changes since its inception in 1947. Largely based upon the British system of education, educational policy is ever-developing. Foreigners who do not wish to go on to tertiary education, can enroll at privately-owned vocational schools that specialize in just one or only a few courses.  An Indian student visa is a multiple entry visa and it's valid for 3 months to 5 years. The Indian student visa is valid for the period of study as approved by the educational institution in India. The visa duration starts on the day of issuance, and not on the day of entry into India. A provisional visa may be issued if the applicant is yet to receive an official admission letter from the university. A provisional visa is valid for 3 months. If admission is not given or confirmed within the stipulated period, the student will have to leave India. Extension of a provisional student visa is not allowed. Almost every university in India has accommodation facilities for all its students. International students can also book their accommodation after being admitted to their desired course or University. In comparison to many other countries, accommodation at Indian universities is cheap. Living cost varies from place to place depending upon the university and the city.  Students also have the option of working part time along with their studies. Tuition fees range from 400 USD in government aided institutes offering basic under graduate courses going up to 3000 USD in certain private or deemed universities offering specialized courses and more

This visa is issued to foreigners who have the intention of studying at a university or higher education school in the Czech Republic for more than three months. Foreigners who intend to study at a high school or conservatory in an exchange program, language course, and internships are eligible to apply for this visa. Minors applying for this visa should ensure they are in possession of a letter of consent signed by both their parents. This document has to be in the Czech language or it should be in English language and must be accompanied by the official translation to the Czech language. The original letter of admission issued by the institution you have been accepted into should be provided, copies are not accepted. This document should be in the Czech language and must have been issued within the last 180 days. Proof that the applicant has sufficient funds to pay their tuition fee and any other extra fee that may arise while in the country is required. Applicants are required to provide a medical report from a medical institution in Nigeria stating that the applicant does not suffer syphilis, tuberculosis, and any other contagious disease. This document must be translated into the Czech language and must be issued within the last 6 months. An original criminal record certificate gotten from Nigeria is required. This certificate should be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nigeria and superlegalized by the Embassy of the Czech Republic. Applicants of this visa type are required to provide the original copy of certificates gotten from schools that they previously. This may include submitting original WAEC/NECO Certificate and WAEC/NECO scratch card. A document proving that payment of the tuition fee has been made is required.

This visa is intended for people travelling to Saudi Arabia for the purpose of study. Applicants of this visa must be ready to submit original copies of previous academic degrees earned. Three (3) copies of medical report, along with three (3) passport-size color pictures, need to also be submitted. The medical report must be issued by a licensed physician who must sign each copy and certify that the applicant is free of any contagious disease. The license number and address of the physician should appear on each copy. Medical reports must be used within three (3) months from the date of issuance.  Children under the age of sixteen (16) do not need a medical report. A recent police report, with detailed information about applicant’s criminal record, if any, must be provided. For married students wishing to take along their spouses or their children, proof of kinship is required: for a spouse, a copy of the marriage certificate will do; for a child, a copy of the birth certificate. Minors (under 18 years of age) travelling alone or with one parent must submit a notarized letter of authorization, in either in Arabic or English, signed by both parents or legal guardians. Visitors to Saudi Arabia must abide by the country’s Islamic laws and regulations and respect its society’s values and traditions. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s laws against drug trafficking are strictly enforced. Violators are subject to severe punishment, which may include the death penalty.

Nigerians who are looking to pursue educational courses in Luxembourg for more than 90 days will have to obtain a student visa. The Luxembourg student visa is a long-term visa granted to students who have already been accepted for admission by a recognized higher educational institute in Luxembourg. The student visa must be obtained before entry into the country.  Before you apply for Luxembourg student visa, you must obtain a ‘temporary authorization to stay’ by applying to the Immigration Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Luxembourg. This temporary authorization to stay is valid for a period of 90 days only. You will have to apply for your student visa within this 90 day period. To be eligible for a Luxembourg student visa, you must provide proof of being enrolled as a full-time student in one of Luxembourg’s institutions for higher education. You must also provide proof of full payment of tuition fee for the course. Your medical insurance must cover the total number of days you will be staying in Luxembourg as a student The insurance must be valid for all Schengen countries for a minimum coverage of EUR 30,000. Students are required to have 500 Euros monthly to cover their finances.  A proof of accommodation should be submitted. This could be either a dormitory contract (signed between you and an official of a dormitory in the country where you will be staying) or rent Agreement (a contract with a property owner in this Schengen state, specifying the address and other information details about the facility and landlord).

Nigerians looking to travel to Iceland for the purpose of studying in one of the institutions in the country can apply for the Icelandic student visa. Before you apply for a student visa, you must ensure you have been accepted into one of the institutions of your choice in the country before applying for visa. Students will need to apply for a residence permit before arriving in Iceland. This can be done by contacting the Directorate of Immigration in Iceland or by notifying the nearest Icelandic embassy. When you have arrived in Iceland, it is important that you apply for a Kennitala (an Icelandic ID/social security number). This is used for every day matters, such as opening a bank account. Letter of acceptance from the institution in Iceland is required. This is proof that you can attend lectures and write exams at school.  If you are given a scholarship, you must provide the letter of sponsorship from the body that awarded the scholarship to you. Students are required to provide travel medical insurance with coverage of at least 30,000 Euros. Proof of financial support in the form of bank statements must be provided. Students are required to have at least 1,434 Euros per month. Student visas in Iceland are flexible enough to allow students to apply for a work permit while they are engaged in their studies. Students are allowed to work 20 working hours per week.

A foreigner who wants to stay and study in Hong Kong will require either a student visa or a student residence permit. Student visas are handled very much like work visas. To get a student visa, your sponsoring educational institution will need to apply for the visa on your behalf. To apply for entry to Hong Kong for study, the applicant should nominate a local sponsor. This can be the educational institution granting the acceptance for admission or an individual over 18 years old living in Hong Kong. Your educational institution or University might help find a local sponsor for you. The validity of the student visa, if granted, will be in line with the normal duration of the study programme. To apply for a visa, your passport must be valid for six months or more from the date of intended entry. Applicants must be able to provide proof that they have sufficient funds to last them the duration of their study. The passport photograph used during application must not be more than 6 months old. Both Form ID 995A and Form ID 995B which can be downloaded online must be completed and signed by the applicant. To prove that you can afford your education and living expenses while in Hong Kong, applicants are required to declare a proof of funds of up to HK$120,000.

International students who want to stay in Hungary for more than 90 consecutive days and who are not EU citizens are required to apply for a long-term student visa to stay in the country. Student visas requirements for Hungary vary, therefore it's important to inquire well in advance about the entry regulations which apply to your home country. To receive a student visa for Hungary, you must first have an offer from a Hungarian university. You can only apply for your student visa prior to your departure from the Hungarian Consulate or Embassy that has jurisdiction in your state or country of permanent residence. Processing a visa usually takes around one month, but could be longer so make sure you apply as early as possible to avoid any unnecessary complications. When the consulates requires an appointment, you may need to schedule it around 4 to 6 weeks in advance because appointment times are limited. After the appointment, the visa processing time usually takes an additional 1 to 4 weeks.  You will need to apply for your residence permit within 15 days of arrival in Hungary. This applies to both EU and non-EU citizens planning to stay in Hungary for longer than 90 days.

People going to Peru to study will need a student visa. Students wanting to intern (without payment) at a Peruvian company also have to apply for a student visa. Note that the Peruvian educational institution or training facility has to be recognized by the Peruvian Ministry of Education or the National Assembly of University Rectors. In some cases "short-term" students and participants of study abroad programs don't have to apply for a student visa. You should contact the nearest Peruvian consulate to check if this exception applies to you. While Peruvian Consulates in the US still issue student visa for three-month stays (which can be extended once you entered Peru), Peruvian Diplomatic Missions in other countries don't issue Student Visa anymore. Students or interns have to enter Peru on a tourist visa and then change their immigration status at Peru's immigration office. Students need to present an enrollment certification issued by a recognized educational institution. Interns will present an official letter from the foreign university or higher education institution, legalized by the Peruvian Consulate (or stamped with an Apostille) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Proof of sufficient financial resources to fund your studies or internship in Peru is also required.
