About Farin Ruwa Falls
Farin Ruwa waterfalls is one of the waterfalls in Nigeria, it is located in Nasarawa state. It is one of the highest falls in Nigeria and also one of the more significant waterfalls in Africa. The origin of the falls is found in Nasarawa state. The water falls at a height of about 150 metres when descending from the Jos Plateau and this is higher than the well-known Victoria Falls (180 metres during its descent).History of Farin Ruwa Waterfalls
In 1950, the Farin Ruwa waterfalls was found out by the British colonial rulers of Nigeria. The fall was published by the colonial rulers to preserve its heritage from those who exploited it commercially. This region has just two season which is the dry and rainy season.The rainy season comes from the month of May till early August while the dry season comes from the month of October till April.
