ABOUT Lagos Motorboat Club is an esteemed and reputable private boat club in Lagos, Nigeria. It was created in 1950 by some ex-members of the Lagos Tarpon Club. For years after its creation, the club lacked its arena and used Wilmott Point for its activities. Things took a glorious turn for the club when it was moved to its private arena on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi Lagos. After undergoing several renovation/upgrade, the proudly possesses certain world-class features such as mermaid water bar, round bar (Gillmore’s Folly), restaurant and 200 standard motorboats. About University of Lagos The University of Lagos fondly called Unilag was established on 22nd of October, 1962.
