History of The Energy Commission of Nigeria

The Energy Commission of Nigeria was created in 1982 after an ECOWAS general assembly in Conakry adopted a declaration that each member state would establish an Energy Commission to coordinate and supervise all energy functions and activities within that state. The Nigerian Energy Commission was thus created to meet this obligation in 1988.
