About The National Council of Arts and Culture

National Council of Arts and Culture is a federal body responsible for the development,promotion and coordination of the living Arts and Culture of Nigeria at the national and international stage.Its responsibilities include representing the Nigerian culture and crafts, folklore, music, drama ,opera etc in a good way and forging strong national unity with that . Its headquarters is located at 1370 Mohammadu Buhari Way, Garki, Abuja FCT.

History of The National Council of Arts and Culture

The National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) was established by Decree No. 3 of 1975 and amended by Decree No. 5 of 1987 (now Cap N25 Laws of the Federation 2004).
