The Nigerian Export Promotion Council was established through the promulgation of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council Decree No. 26 of 1976. It was updated by the Export decrees pof 1986 and 1992 which sought to enhance the performance of the council by increasing its autonomy and reducing bureaucratic obstructions.Safety
