The National Planning Commission provides policy advise to the federal government on national priorities, appraisal of the human and material resources available to the country, formulates and co-ordinates short, medium and long term national developmental plans, advises on changes and adjustments in institutions and management techniques and deals with matters relating to regional economic co-operation.
