About Bureau of Public Procurement

Bureau of Public Procurement was established through the Public Procurement Act in 2007 as the regulatory authority responsible for the monitoring and control of public procurement, synchronizing the existing government policies and practices by regulating, setting standards and developing intense lawful structure and professional capacity for public procurement in Nigeria, ensuring probity, accountability and transparency in the procurement process as an improvement on the hitherto practice where bodies has different policies and structures in procurement.
