Soketta Hotels Ltd is a tourist destination of 30 bedrooms guest house located at No 1/3 Soketta Road, off Hospital Road, Badagry. It is in the heart of the Ancient town of Badagry. All apartments in the hotel contain amenities such as fans and airconditioners, DSTV, fridge, intercom, the security doors to the rooms are card operated (Automated card system - ACS), standard beds of 6ft by 6ft, all rooms ensuite. We have spacious car park, and a well flowered environment with ornamental plants. The premises is guarded by uniformed security men, both day and night outside the fact that the Badagry Divisional Police Station is just a stone throw to the hotel location. The staff are very courteous and hospitable to make customers stay a memorable one. We also have tour operators/guide , at a cost, to guide tourists through important monumental places around the neighbourhood such as the Nigeria French Language Village, the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria - ASCON, traditional heritage of worships, the tomb of the 1st slave merchant, the site of the Obelisk - erected to replace the fallen Agia Tree under which the 1st Christmas service in Nigeria was held in 1842, the 1st storey building in Nigeria , built in 1845 by Rev. C. A. Gollmer, the coconut grove, the relics of the Trans Atlantic slave trade, the beaches, the early Christian cemetery, where the remains of evangelists (such as Mr. & Mrs. Cooten, Mr. Willoughby, Mr. George Brand, Mrs. Muller etc) were buried, the Ogu Toplisen shrine, the agbalata market, the Ologe Forest Reserve at agbara, etc. A visit to us will leave you with an everlasting memory.
