Visitor Visa from India to Pakistan
- Indians traveling to Pakistan for tourism and visitation purposes should apply for the Pakistan visit visa.
- However, this visa doesn't allow Indians apply for tourism purposes; just visitation purposes.
- This visa is valid for 30 days and is not extendable.
- Indians who stay longer than the time permitted by the visa are subject to a fee of 40 Rupees per day of overstay.
- Applicants are required to provide a sponsorship letter from those they are visiting in Pakistan.
- A copy of the sponsor’s Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) must be required.
- Applications from Indian passport holders must be cleared directly from the Ministry of Interior.
- Indian nationals are also restricted in the availability of ports of entry to Pakistan, and instead must enter and leave the country via designated points, including the Wagah border, as well as through airports in Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi.
- Indian nationals are typically required to enter and exit Pakistan through the same post, unless permission is sought in advance.
- Polio vaccination within one year before travel may be required to exit Pakistan.
Travelers must obtain advance permission from local or federal authorities to travel in the following areas:
- Province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).
- Various districts in Azad Jammu Kashmir.
- Province of Balochistan.
