Visitor Visa from Congo to Norway
- Norway issues a visitor visa to nationals of other countries for various short-stay purposes.
- With the Norway visitor visa, individuals to travel for tourism, business, visitations, and ceremonies.
- Applicants are expected to have an accommodation reservation valid for the duration of their stay in Norway.
- If you have a host, the person is required to send an invitation letter stating the relationship between both parties, the purpose of the visit and the duration of the stay.
- A covering letter is required by the Norwegian embassy introducing the applicant and carrying details about the trip.
- When entering into Norway, the currency restriction for travellers is 25,000 Norwegian Kroner (or equivalent), not including traveler’s checks.
- Those travelling for a business trip are required to have a letter from the host company stating the purpose of the trip, duration of the business trip and if the host will sponsor the trip.
- Employed applicants are to present a letter from their employer. The letter should contain the applicant's position and salary at work and that the applicant is on official leave.
- All applications are to be submitted in person to the embassy and an interview would be required.
- Individuals are to have medical insurance worth 30,000 euros and valid for all the Schengen states.
- Ensure that your documents are correct and complete. Incorrect or incomplete documents would cause a delay or rejection of the application.
