Visitor Visa from Liberia to Canada

The Canadian visitor's visa is issued to Liberians visiting for sightseeing, tourism and recreational purposes. 

A Canadian visitors visa can also be referred to as a Canadian Temporary Resident Visa(TRV).

If the purpose of the applicant's visit is to see a relative or friend, a letter of invitation should be provided.

The letter should contain the full contact details of the host and a valid means of identification.

Liberians who wish to partake in business activities can also do so on the visitor's visa.

If the purpose of travel is to transit through Canada to a destination country, a visitors visa will also be required.

Applicants who are employed are to submit a letter from their employer stating their awareness and duration of the applicants leave.

The host company in Canada should provide a letter stating the nature of business to be carried out and duration.

Proof of company registration should be submitted.

Proof of previous business dealings should be provided.

Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicant's duration of stay should be submitted.

Proof of incentive of returning to Liberia at the expiration of your visa should be submitted.

Proof of hotel reservation or accommodation should be submitted.

Applicants travel itinerary and round trip reservation should be submitted.

Proof of medical fitness and yellow fever vaccination should be submitted.

Extension of the visitor's visa is possible. To get an extension, you need to apply before the visa expires.

Applicants who are under the age of 18 are to submit the original copy of their birth certificate. A letter of consent from one or both parents should be provided if the minor would be travelling without either of them.

Applicants are to adhere to all the rules guiding the visitors visa.
