Visitor Visa from Nigeria to Trinidad and Tobago
- Trinidad and Tobago issues this visa to individuals who intend to travel for recreation, vacation and sight-seeing purposes.
- If you want to visit friends or relatives, attend ceremonies or festivals then you are also eligible for this visa.
- Two copies of the application form signed by the applicant along with 2 recent passport photographs are required.
- For those travelling for visitations, an invitation letter from the host in Trinidad and Tobago is required. The letter should state the host’s immigration status, the name, address and contact details also. The invitation must be official and those sent via email will not be accepted.
- Medical certificate showing that the applicant is free from contagious illnesses should be provided.
- A refundable payment of 560,000 Naira should be made as Security deposit to any Diamond bank. The applicant can request for a refund on the return to Nigeria.
- It takes a week to process the request and only the applicant can request and collect the refund.
- The Consul will give the applicant a letter of authorization to make the security bond deposit. After the deposit, the applicant is to return the slip in exchange for a receipt.
- All applications are to be done in person.
- Pay-slip or bank statement for three months before the application date is required.
- The originals plus two copies of all required documents are to be submitted.
- Visa can be extended for a maximum of 1 year from the entry date into Trinidad and Tobago.
- If you overstay your visa, it will be difficult to re-enter the country.
