This is the type of visa issued to Nigerians traveling to Venezuela for business purposes . You will need to provide an invitation letter from the Venezuelan company you will be visiting. This letter will also contain their detailed address, accompanied with the date and actual purpose of your trip. If the intention is to attend a meeting or seminar, confirmation/invitation from the conference organizer/institution is required. If you are employed, you will have to present a certificate from your employer stating or allowing your business travel. Proof of sufficient funds to cover the costs of stay (e.g. bank statement for 3 recent months) is required. Self-employed people may need to submit proof of business registration. You cannot be gainfully employed while you are in the country with this visa. It must be made clear whether your trip will be sponsored by the employer or the local company. Proof of payment of visa application fee should be submitted . Venezuela's child protection law mandates that minors (under 18) of any nationality who are traveling alone, with only one parent, or with a third party, must present a copy of their birth certificate. A written, notarized authorization from the absent parent(s) or legal guardian, specifically granting permission to travel alone, with one parent, or with a third party is also needed. If documents are prepared outside of Venezuela, the authorization and the birth certificate must be translated into Spanish, notarized, and authenticated by the Embassy of Venezuela or a Venezuelan Consulate. Venezuela uses biometric equipment to register photos and fingerprints of all travelers to Margarita Island. Business travelers are advised to take their passport with them when traveling to the Island. Travelers are advised to only use official crossing points when entering Venezuela.
