Student Visa from Nigeria to Trinidad and Tobago
- Student visa is for persons who want to study in Trinidad and Tobago.
- For individuals who intend to study at the University of Southern Trinidad, the Minister of Education in Nigeria should issue a letter stating that the individual’s intended course of study is not available in Nigeria.
- All applicants are to submit an original copy of their transcript, showing results of previous degrees, whether high school or university, earned.
- Applications are to be submitted in person to the Trinidad and Tobago office at Abuja.
- Letter of acceptance from the institution in Trinidad and Tobago is required.
- The parent/sponsor of the student is expected to present a bank statement not older than 3 months. The bank statement should show that there is sufficient funds for the duration of study.
- A receipt of the non-refundable visa fee of N4,000 and complete tuition fee should be presented along with other documents.
- Before travelling to Trinidad and Tobago, it is important to ensure that your passport is valid for the duration of your course of study.
- The sum of Naira 560,000 must be paid during the visa application process. This will serve as a security bond deposit which will be refunded when the visitor returns to Nigeria.
- Security Bond Deposit should be paid at any Diamond Bank in Nigeria. If it is made in Trinidad and Tobago, the original document showing payments should be submitted.
- Intending students must sort out their accommodation and have documents confirming it before they can be granted a visa.
- Applications should be submitted at least 6 weeks from the intended travel date.
