Business Visa from Nigeria to Trinidad and Tobago
- Individuals who are travelling for the purpose of conducting businesses, signing and negotiating contracts can apply for this visa.
- A Trinidad and Tobago visa is valid for 180 days but the individual must not stay for longer than 90 days.
- It costs 4,000 Naira (non-refundable) for a visa into the country. However, a deposit of 560,000 Naira (refundable) must be made before visa can be processed.
- The Consul accepts Diamond bank drafts payable to Trinidad and Tobago High Commission.
- Applicants are to submit a letter from the host company in Trinidad and Tobago detailing the exact purpose of visit, duration of stay, and contact details of the company.
- Travelling medical practitioners are to present an original medical qualification certificate issued by the Medical and Dental Board of Nigeria.
- Submission of applications can be done at Trinidad and Tobago embassy in Abuja within the hours of 10 am - 3 pm on Mondays to Fridays.
- Employed applicants are to present an introduction letter from their employer. It should carry information such as the position and salary of the applicant.
- For the self-employed, a proof of business registration from the CAC (corporate affairs commission) in Nigeria should be submitted.
- The financial statement of the applicant not older than three months must be presented. If the applicant does not have enough money as decided by the Consul, a visa will not be granted.
- All forms are to be printed on both pages.
- Extension of visas can be done by applying to the Chief Immigration Officer in Trinidad and Tobago.
- Individuals are advised to either apply for an extension of visa or leave Trinidad and Tobago before their visa expires.
