Transit Visa from Mauritania to Ireland
- Citizens of Mauritania are required to be in possession of an Irish transit visa when arriving at a port of entry in Ireland for the purposes of passing through a port (airport, seaport) in order to travel to another state.
- A transit visa does not permit Mauritanian citizens to enter Ireland for any purpose. It only permits you to transit through Ireland to reach your destination country.
- If the intention of the foreign travellers is to leave the port at any stage, they must apply for a short stay visa in the normal way.
- Applicants are to have the relevant visa for your country of destination in your passport before applying for an Irish transit visa.
- There are Single and Multiple entries Transit Visa available to the applicants.
- The Single transit visa 60 Euro while Multiple Entries is 100 Euro.
- People are required to provide Travel medical insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000.00 Euro covering the whole of the Schengen area, as this visa grants you the advantage to transit into the Schengen states.
- Bank account statement for the last 6months duly endorsed by the Bank you are using.
- Since Ireland does not currently maintain an embassy in Algeria, Applicants for Ireland visas are to visit neighbouring countries where Ireland has an embassy.
