This visa is issued to foreign nationals who have the intention of transiting through Germany to their destination country.
Applicants of this visa should be in possession of the visa of the destination country.
A confirmed flight ticket of the applicant’s destination country is required.
Non-Nigerians residing in Nigeria are required to be in possession of a copy of their Nigerian residence permit.
Minors applying for this visa should ensure they are in possession of the original copy of their birth certificate.
A color copy of all previous Schengen visas should be provided.
Holders of this visa are not allowed to take up permanent residence in the country.
Incomplete applications will be rejected.

Passport with a validity of more than 6 months from the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have at least two blank pages for the necessary stamps.
Correctly completed visa application form duly signed by the applicant.
Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background. The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.
Bank statement from the past three months prior to the period of visa application. This is proof of a steady and continuous flow of funds.
Travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage. The insurance should be valid for the duration of your stay in the country.
Proof of civil status.
Proof of accommodation for the period you will be staying in the country.
Copy of return flight ticket.
