Tourist Visa from Vietnam to Canada
- Canadian tourist visa is for sightseeing, vacation or tourist purposes.
- Canadian tourist visa allows applicants to attend conferences, educational, professional or business events whilst in the country with this visa type.
- Tourists can visit family and friends with this type of visa.
- A Canadian tourist visa is also known as Canada visitor visa or Canadian Temporary Resident Visa(TRV).
- Canadian tourist visas are of two types: single entry visa and multiple entry visa.
- A letter of invitation which states your address and valid contact details is required.
- Holders of this visa cannot enrol for any part-time or full-time courses.
- Vietnamese citizens who travel with this type of visa cannot take up any forms of employment while in the country.
- An international passport with a validity of not less than six months should be submitted.
- Applicants are advised to apply at least 45 days before their proposed journey.
- You are required to present the receipt of paid visa application fee before you can be issued this visa.
- You are to provide a letter from the authorities in Vietnam stating that you have a clean criminal record.
- Your current employer has to provide proof of your employment in his company.
- Documents that show your intention of returning back to your home country.
- Before you gain entry into Canada, you are required to provide a medical report.
- Your dependents, such as your spouse and minor children can come to Canada with you with a Tourist Visa. However, they must have their own application, and everyone should pay separate fees.
