Tourist Visa from Central African Republic to Hungary

  • The Hungarian tourist visa is issued to Central Africans looking to travel to Hungary for tourism purposes.
  • Hungary is a Schengen country, so travelers can apply for a Schengen country.
  • The tourist visa is the Schengen “C” visa and it lets you stay within Hungary for three months.
  • Applicants are required to declare amounts more than 10,000 Euros or equivalent at customs.
  • Travel visa insurance confirmation of minimum 30,000 € coverage within Hungary and the entire Schengen area must be provided.
  • Proof of civil status e.g. marriage certificate, birth certificate of children, death certificate of spouse, ration card... must be provided.
  • Tax payment slips or exemption slips will be required from the applicant.
  • Carry your passport with you at all times. Local police may require you to show documentation to establish your identity upon request. Hungarian police may take you into custody if you attempt to prove your identity with documents other than a passport.
  • Hungary has a zero tolerance policy for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Penalties are severe, including significant jail time.
  • Public transportation in Budapest is excellent. Budapest’s tram, subway, and bus service is reliable and – for the most part – clean.
  • A cover letter explaining your purpose of trip and travel plans when you arrive in Hungary must be provided.
  • Proof of sufficient financial means for the period of stay in Hungary must be provided.
  • Travelers are required to have at least 50 euros per day to cover their daily finances in Hungary.
