Facts about Thailand

The tourism industry is a major industry in Thailand. The industry is promoted using the slogans “Amazing Thailand” and “Discover Thailand”. Foreigners in Thailand pick Bangkok as their go-to destination for its historical, natural, and cultural sites in its surroundings. The capital, Bangkok, also has beaches, islands, trekking destinations, minority ethnic groups, and forested mountains all of which combine to act as a magnet for tourists. Thailand is also known to have what is considered by many to be the largest market in the world, the Chatuchak Weekend Market.
