Business Visa from Nigeria to Taiwan
- Nigerians traveling to Taiwan for business must first secure a business visa.
- Business visitors traveling to Taiwan may engage in the activities below:
- Attend business meetings
- Attend conferences or seminars
- Tour a company facility
- Buying goods for sale outside the country
- The Taiwan business visa can be issued on single or multiple entry basis.
- The duration of stay (each visit) for each visa class is normally 30-60 days based on the particular Taiwanese consulate.
- Original and photocopy of business registration certificate and tax clearance or IRS are required during the visa application.
- You are also required to provide an invitation letter issued by a registered Taiwanese company or organization (for example, a trade fair).
- The Taiwanese Business Visa can be extended for up to 120 days.
- It is illegal to work in Taiwan with the Business Visa. If you want to legally work in Taiwan, you will need a different kind of visa.
- Taiwanese business visa fees are the same as that of tourist visas. The applicant’s nationality and number of entries make a difference.
- If the intention is to attend a meeting or seminar, confirmation/invitation from the conference organizer/institution is required.
- If you are employed, you will have to present a certificate from your employer stating or allowing your business travel.
- Proof of sufficient funds to cover the costs of stay (e.g. bank statement for 2 recent months) is required.
- Self-employed people may need to submit proof of business registration.
- Marriage certificate will be required if applicant is married.
