The Student Visa is issued to foreigners who have been offered admission to study in an academic institution in Sweden.
The original letter of admission from the institution that the applicant has been accepted to should be presented during the visa application.
You are required to be in possession of the receipt of the tuition fee paid to the institution in Sweden.
An original guarantee letter explaining the details of the applicant’s financial situation is required.
Minors applying for this visa should ensure they are in possession of the original and two extra copies of their birth certificate.
You are required to present two copies of your curriculum vitae during the visa application.
Applicants of this visa are required to present original certificates they obtain from the schools they attended previously.
If you will be accompanied by your family member you can apply on their behalf in your own application.
Proof of payment of visa fee is required.
The documents to be submitted should be in English or Swedish.

Passport with a validity of at least 3 months from the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have at least two blank pages for the necessary stamp.
Duly completed visa application form signed by the applicant.
Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background. The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.
