Student Visa from Swaziland to Thailand
- The Thailand student visa is for Swazis who intend to study in one of the institutions of learning in Thailand.
- Applicants should note that before applying for this visa you must have been accepted into an institution or school in Thailand.
- It is a non-migrant visa and is also known as an education visa.
- Holders of the Thailand student visa are allowed to attend training sessions, cooking classes, martial arts classes, participate in projects or seminars, or study as a foreign Buddhist monk.
- Foreigners are eligible to participate in skilled jobs or to work as an expert or a specialist.
- Applicants of this visa are to provide a letter of acceptance from the academic institution you have been accepted to, stating the course and duration of the study.
- The letter should be written on the institution's letterhead(Mandatory).
- An official note from an approved institution in Thailand confirming the purpose of your travel must be submitted.
- Certificates and transcripts of institutions you have previously attended should be provided during the visa application.
- Foreign students are allowed to work part-time for a period of up to 20-hours per week when school is in session and full-time when school is on break.
- Qualified applicants can obtain an additional one-year stay permit counting from the date of entry into the country pertaining to the Office of the Immigration Bureau’s regulation on the extension of stay.
- Means of financial subsistence by providing the most recent bank statement with a minimum balance of $700.00 (or $1,500 per family) to show as evidence of sufficient funds to support stay in Thailand.
- All documents to be submitted must be translated into English or Thai and notarized by the embassy or consular mission in your country or the country you are submitting your visa application.
- A computer-generated flight itinerary from an airline or travel agency should be provided.
- Proof of the paid tuition fees is required during the visa application.
