Applicants of this visa are foreigners who have the intention of studying in any of the academic institutions in the country.
A letter of admission to the university you have been accepted is required.
Proof of knowledge of the German language is required, if applicable.
Applicants are required to submit their Primary and Secondary School Leaving Certificates.
Proof of previous academic studies, professional training, or work experience should be provided, if applicable.
You are expected to provide to present your birth certificate from the National Population Commission.
Minors are required to provide a letter of consent from their parents for their studies in Germany. It should be accompanied by a copy of the passport of the signing parents.
Proof of financial sustainability for the duration of your study in Germany.

Passport with a validity of more than 6 months from the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have at least two blank pages for the necessary stamps.
Correctly completed visa application form duly signed by the applicant.
Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background. The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.
Bank statement from the past three months prior to the period of visa application. This is proof of a steady and continuous flow of funds.
Travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage. The insurance should be valid for the duration of your stay in the country.
Proof of civil status.
Proof of accommodation for the period you will be staying in the country.
Copy of return flight ticket.
Travel itinerary.
