Tourist Visa from Nigeria to Sri Lanka
- This is the type of visa issued to persons intending to visit Sri Lanka for tourism purposes.
- All visitors to Sri Lanka must carry a valid passport.
- The first step of the process of securing a visa is downloading and filling the online application form.
- The visa is valid for 180 days from the date of application and permits two entries into the country.
- Your total stay is counted starting from the day you enter Sri Lanka.
- Three very important things you need before going to the embassy are:
- Your valid Nigerian passport.
- Proof of a valid round-trip ticket showing the port of entry into Sri Lanka.
- Proof you have funds to cover all your expenses during your stay.
- Visa applicants intending to visit a friend or family need to submit an invitation letter from a family member or host living in Sri Lanka.
- This letter should clearly state the address and contact details of the host, as well as your relationship with them.
- Children under the age of 12 years are exempt from paying the visa application fee.
- Proof of yellow fever vaccination is required for Nigerians.
- You are advised to exit the country before your visa expires and present documents that show you have the intention to do so.
- This visa does not serve study purposes. You cannot be enrolled in any of the institutions of learning in the country.
