  • Singapore business visa is issued for limited business activities.
  • These activities include conferences, meetings, seminars, and even discussions.
  • A printout of the registered Singapore company’s business profile is required. It should show the details of the trip and the names of all the directors/shareholders in the company.
  • The printout should be issued within the last three months to the date of your visa application.

  • Non-compliance with the immigration regulations, the false declaration of information or submission of forged documents during the application process will be an offense under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act.  Penalties may include a fine and/or imprisonment for the applicant and/or company.
  • Short stay visas require a duly completed and signed 14A form. Visa application will be made based on the information in the form. ICA (Immigration and Checkpoints authority) may request the form to be submitted.
  • A completed form V394 (letter of introduction for visa application LOI) issued by a local contact in Singapore is also required for a Singapore business visa.
  • The local contact must be acting on behalf of the Singapore registered business entity.
  •  LOIs issued by embassies are also accepted
  • Singapore immigration and checkpoints authority takes a stern stand on attempts to overstay, enter or exit Singapore illegally.
  • Penalties for overstaying your visa or entering illegally are jail term for 6 months plus a minimum of three strokes of the cane while penalties for illegal leaving is not less than 6 months jail term and not more than 2 years. A fine of about $6,000 will also have to be paid.
