Student Visa from Nigeria to Portugal Description

This visa is issued to foreigners who have the intention of studying in any of the academic institutions in Portugal.
Before initiating the visa application process, intending students should ensure confirm that they have been accepted in an institution in Portugal.
A letter of acceptance from the institution in Portugal should be provided. The letter must be printed on the institution’s letterhead and must state the course the applicant will be studying.
Applicants of this visa should be in possession of certificates and transcripts they obtained from the schools they previously attended.
Proof that the applicant can pay the tuition fee and any extra fee during their time in Portugal is required.
Minors applying for this visa type are required to submit the original copy of their birth certificate.
Non-Nigerians should provide evidence of legal residence in Nigeria.
Proof of payment of visa application fee is required.

Passport with a validity of at least 3 months from the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have at least two blank pages for the necessary stamp.
Duly completed visa application form signed by the applicant.
Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background. The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.
Original copy of bank statement from the past three months prior to the period of visa application. This is proof of steady and continuous flow of funds.
Travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage. The insurance should be valid for the duration of your stay in the country.
Proof of civil status.
Proof of accommodation for the period you will be staying in the country.
Copy of return flight ticket.
Travel itinerary.
