Official Visa from Rwanda to Slovakia

  • This visa is issued to foreign nationals who have received an official invitation to Slovakia to participate in meetings, consultations, negotiations, exchange programs or other events held by intergovernmental organisations.
  • A visa application form must be fully completed and signed before submission.
  • Two passport-size photographs taken within the last three months must be submitted. Please note that edited photos are not allowed.
  • Your passport must be original with at least three months validity after your intended departure from Slovakia.
  • Copies of your passport pages containing your information and copies of all pages with visas and stamps on them must be submitted.
  • A roundtrip flight ticket with dates and flight numbers specifying entry and exit into Slovakia must be submitted.
  • Medical travel insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros to cover the entire period of your intended stay in Slovakia and valid everywhere in the Schengen Area, in case of any medical emergency.
  • You must provide proof of your financial means for the duration of your stay is required. This could be a verbal note if you are a government representative, issued by the respective ministry, that they will pay all your expenses, or; your bank account statements of the last three months.
  • You should also show proof that you have reserved a hotel accommodation for the duration of your stay in Slovakia.
  • Proof of paid visa fee must also be presented. The Official Visa fee is 60 euros. Diplomatic passport holders are, however, exempt from paying this fee.
  • Letter of invitation from a Slovak organisation, duly signed by the authorised representative should be submitted. This letter should clearly state who will cover your travel expenses, the purpose of travel, travel itinerary, and the list of people travelling with you, their position and passport number.
  • An official note from the Consular Department must be obtained and submitted. This is only applicable for Diplomatic and Official passports.
