Student Visa from Nigeria to Mongolia
- Applicants intending to go to Mongolia for study will need a student visa.
- The Mongolian student visa is called the ‘S’ visa.
- “S” visa is issued through an arrangement with the Citizenship and Migration General Authority of Mongolia (CMGA) in Ulaanbaatar.
- The universities or institutes of the applicants in Mongolia should arrange and assist with contacting the CMGA. In order to get student visa, an applicants should have the following documents:
- An official letter of the Ministry of Science and Education of Mongolia that accept to study in Mongolia;
- the official letter from inviting universities or institutions;
- the registration certificate of the educational institutions;
- and a copy of passport of the applicant.
- After entering Mongolia, ‘S’ visa holders must get a residence permit at once.
- The residence permit is usually valid for 6 months but can be extended for up to up to 1 year.
- Students who plan to take Mongolian language as a regular class can also get the Mongolian “S” visa.
- The passport used for the application must be valid for at least 12 months.
- The student visa application fee is $150 per person.
- A health record report which must include test for HIV/AIDS is required.
- You will need about 4 passport photos during your application for a residence permit.
