Medical Visa from Latvia to India
- A Medical Visa is given to applicants seeking medical treatment in reputed/recognized specialized hospitals/treatment centers in India.
- Up to two attendants who are blood relatives are allowed to accompany the applicant under separate Medical Attendant visas. This visa is not applicable to surrogacy.
- A certificate of preliminary medical advice from the country of origin/country of residence that shows the applicant has been advised to go for specialized medical treatment. In cases where the applicant desires to go for treatment under the Indian system of Medicine, the case may also be considered.
- An original passport and one photocopy of passport information and signature page are required.
- This passport must be signed, valid for 6 months beyond stay in India, with at least two blank passport pages available for India visa stamps.
- The Consulate of India requires a visa application form that is completed online. Your application must:
- Display your name exactly as it appears in your passport
- Include answers to all fields
- Type of visa and length of validity requested must match listing on all other documentation.
- Be signed on the first page under the photo, and on the second page. In order to be accepted, all signatures must:
- Match the signature in your passport
- Be in the middle of the box. They cannot touch the edges of the box or run out of the box
- Include your email address on the online application.
- An application missing a personal email address will be rejected by the consulate
- Be printed on single-sided sheets of paper(Double-sided applications will be rejected). You must fully print the bar code on the bottom of page 1
- Your passport will be shipped back to the address indicated on your application under "Present Address."
