Medical Visa from Nigeria to Portugal
- This visa is issued to foreign nationals traveling to Portugal for the purpose of seeking and receiving medical treatment.
- A medical diagnosis from the applicant’s doctor in Nigeria should be provided. The diagnosis should state in detail the nature of the applicant’s illness.
- A letter from the receiving medical institution in Portugal stating willingness to treat the applicant is required.
- Any other correspondence between the medical institutions in Nigeria and Portugal should be provided.
- Applicants of this visa are required to provide proof that they can pay the medical bill and any other cost that may arise.
- If the applicant of this visa is a minor, the unabridged copy of the minor’s birth certificate is required.
- Non-Nigerians applying for this visa should ensure they are in possession of their Nigerian residence permit.
- You are expected to leave the country on or before this visa expires.
