Medical Visa from Egypt to Colombia
- This visa is issued to foreign nationals with the intention of visiting Colombia to seek and receive medical treatment.
- Foreigners who want to accompany people who need medical treatment in the country can also apply for this visa.
- A certificate from the applicant’s local physician in Egypt stating the nature of the applicant’s illness and the reason the treatment will be best gotten in Colombia is required.
- A certificate issued by the health care institution in Colombia which is willing to accept and treat the specific medical treatment needed by the applicant should be provided.
- Any other correspondence between the applicant’s local doctor and the medical institution in Colombia is required.
- Proof that the applicant can pay for the medical fees and any extra costs that may arise is required.
- If the applicant is a minor, the original copy of the minor’s birth certificate should be provided. It should be accompanied by a notarized consent signed by both parents of the minor.
- Holders of this visa cannot be paid for the services they render while they are in the country.
- Receipt of the non-refundable visa application fee is required.
