Medical Visa from Egypt to Luxembourg
- This visa is issued to foreigners traveling to Luxembourg to seek and receive medical treatment that cannot be gotten in their country.
- A certificate from the applicant’s medical doctor in Egypt is required. The certificate should state the medical history of the patient and what kind of medical treatment is needed.
- An official document from the receiving medical institution in Luxembourg confirming that it can perform the specific medical treatment required by the applicant.
- Proof that the applicant can afford the medical costs and any extra cost that may arise is required.
- Any other correspondence between the sending medical doctor and the receiving medical institution is required.
- Minors applying for this visa must provide the unabridged original copy of their birth certificate. If they are traveling with one or none of their parents, a letter of consent signed by both their parents should be provided.
- Receipt of paid visa application fees should be provided.
- During your time in the country, you are not allowed to be gainfully employed or take up a course of study.
- You are expected to leave the country on or before this visa expires.
