Medical Visa from Egypt to Switzerland
- Foreign nationals visiting Switzerland to seek and receive medical treatment that cannot be received in their country are the eligible applicants of this visa.
- A certificate from the applicant’s medical doctor in Egypt stating the medical history of the patient and what kind of medical treatment is needed is required.
- An official invitation letter from the medical institution in Switzerland that has agreed to take up the applicant’s treatment is required.
- The letter must contain the contact information of the medical institution, confirmation that the medical institution can perform the medical treatment the applicant needs, and the duration of the medical treatment.
- Proof that the applicant has the capacity to cover the medical bill and any extra cost, if necessary, should be provided.
- A letter from the applicant’s employer is required. The letter should introduce the applicant and confirm continuing employment after the treatment has been completed.
- Non-Egyptians should ensure they have a valid Egyptian residence permit before applying for this visa.
- If the applicant is under the age of 18 years, the original copy of the applicant’s birth certificate must be provided.
- Foreigners in the country on this visa are not allowed to work or enroll in an academic institution.
- You are expected to leave the country on or before this visa expires.
