Student Visa from Nigeria to Liechtenstein
- A foreigner who wants to stay and study in Liechtenstein will require either a student visa or a student residence permit.
- The Liechtenstein student visa and the residence permit do not refer to the same document.
- Liechtenstein student visa is a temporary short-term permit that is issued to a foreign student who wants to stay and study in Liechtenstein for a maximum of 90 days (3 months).
- Liechtenstein student residence permit is issued to a foreign student to wants to stay and study in Liechtenstein for duration of more than 90 days (3 months).
- As soon as you have been admitted by the University of Liechtenstein, you can download your letter of acceptance in Mobility Online and apply for your short-term residence permit in Liechtenstein.
- The permit office at the University of Liechtenstein will contact you after your admission to help you with your short-term residence permit and Schengen visa.
- Normally, Liechtenstein residence permits for students are granted for one year at a time.
- A student visa is suitable for those foreign students who plan to take a short-term language course in Liechtenstein or want to appear in an entrance examination.
- A student residence permit is suitable for those foreign students who have been accepted into a full-term degree course in Liechtenstein.
- To be eligible for Liechtenstein Student Visa or Residence Permit, you must provide the official letter of acceptance issued by your hosting Liechtenstein university or educational institute or polytechnic.
- You must provide proof of your financial ability so as to support yourself financially during your entire period of study in Liechtenstein and for your return transportation.
- At present, a student must have at least EUR 600 per month for staying in Liechtenstein. This means the student must have a minimum of EUR 7,200 per year for their expenses in Liechtenstein.
- Applicants are advised to make sure their passport is valid for at least three (3) months after the end of their intended travel and that it has been issued no later than ten (10) years ago.
- The embassy or consulate you are using reserves the right to ask for additional documents or a second appearance for an interview in special cases.
- Submission of the above-mentioned documents does not guarantee that a visa is granted.
- Submission of incomplete documentation or refusal to appear for a special visa interview may result in the rejection of your application.
