Tourist Visa from Nigeria to Hong Kong
- This is the type of visa issued to persons who intend to visit Hong Kong for tourism purposes. You can also visit family and friends while on this visa.
- All visitors to Hong Kong must carry a valid passport. Tourist visa holders are not allowed by law to take up employment (paid or unpaid), to establish or join in any business, or to enter school as a student. Only in the most unusual of circumstances are visitors allowed to change their immigration status after arrival.
- Applicants seeking this visa need to submit an invitation letter from a family member or host living in Hong Kong. This letter should clearly state the address and contact details of the host, as well as your relationship with them.
- During the visa application, you will need to provide proof of sufficient funds to last the duration of your stay. The Hong Kong tourist visa is valid for only 90 days. You are advised to exit the country before your visa expires.
- To shorten the processing time, application forms and supporting documents can be sent by fax at first. However, original copies of the duly completed application forms and the photographs need to be sent by air mail.
