Student Visa from Cambodia to China
- A Student visa is issued to those who want to study in China.
- This visa is of two categories: The X1 and X2.
- The X1 visa is issued for long-term study in China lasting more than 180 days while the X2 visa is issued for short-term studies of not up to 180 days.
- X2 visa is issued for single-entry only. X1 visa can be issued for multiple entries with validity of up to 5 years.

- Those who intend to go to China for research, lecture, scientific, cultural exchange and study tour can apply for the Non-Commerce Visa

Work Visa from Cambodia to China
- A work visa (Z visa) is the legal way to seek and get employment in China.
- Holder of the work visa is expected to arrive in China within 90 days after the visa has been issued and register at a public security bureau within 30 days of arrival.
- This visa is initially issued for 30 days but your employer would get a residence permit for you on your arrival in China which would have to be renewed yearly.
- If you are travelling for a job that does not exceed 90 days, a certificate of short-term work in China for foreigners must be provided.
- All applicants are expected to apply for this visa in person as a physical interview would be conducted.
- Your application form must be filled correctly and a recent passport photograph, not older than 6 months must be attached to it.
- Do not use a stapler to attach your photo to the application form, a paper clip is preferrable.

Business Visa from Cambodia to China
- The Chinese business visa (M visa) is issued for commercial, business and trade activities.
- It is important to note that China has two categories of business visa which are the M visa and the F visa.
- The M visa is strictly for individuals entering China for commercial and trade activities while the F visa is issued for non-commercial activities such as exchanges, visits and inspections.
- To be eligible for this visa, you are to submit a copy of your company's business license if you are self-employed.
- Those who are employed in Cambodia are to present a letter from their employer stating that they are on an official trip that has been approved.
- An invitation letter from the partner company in China is also required.
- The letter should contain the exact reason for coming to China, date of arrival and departure, place of visit, relationship with the inviting unit or person, and source of expenses.
- If there has been previous business dealings between you and the inviting company, details of such business should be provided.
- The business visa is valid for 30 days but if you need a longer time, you can state it during your visa application.
- It is also issued for either single-entry, double-entry or multiple-entry but regardless of the number of entries, the visa is still valid for 30 days.
- Seeking employment with a business visa is illegal in China.

Tourist Visa from Cambodia to China
- The Chinese tourist visa also known as the L visa is issued to those who want to travel to China for tourism, sight-seeing or recreational purposes.
- This visa is usually valid for 30-60 days and could be issued for single or double entry.
- The single entry visa allows one entry into China while the double-entry allows two entries into China with the same visa for as long as it is valid.
- The single-entry visa must be used within the first three months of the date of issue while the double-entry visa should be used within six months.
- Applicants are to have a round-trip air ticket and a copy of their hotel orders or tourist agency letter.
- Ensure that your passport is valid and has a blank visa page for stamping.
- If you are aged 16-35, you would have to be interviewed by the consular officers.
- A certificate of legal stay or residence in Cambodia for non-Cambodian citizens is required.
- Any document you are submitting must contain the full names of all the people that are applying for the visa.
- Minors are required to submit their birth certificate and an authorization letter from their parents or legal guardians.
- Individuals who intend to stay at a friend or relative's house do not have to book a hotel however, your host would have to send an invitation letter to you.
- Before travelling to China, ensure that you have enough funds for the duration of your trip.
- Tourist visa extensions can be applied for at the local Entry & Exit Bureaus.
