Business Visa from Zambia to DR Congo
- This visa allows business-oriented Zambians to go about their business activities in DR Congo without restrictions.
- A business visa is valid for only one month.
- If a business applicant plans on staying in the Republic of Congo for more than 30 days, he/she should extend the visa at the nearest Immigration Office.
- Businessmen and women can meet up with their business partners to discuss their business and also to sign contracts. You can also attend conferences, trade fairs, and business lectures.
- An official letter of invitation from the company in DR Congo is required.
- The address of the company, the duration, and purpose of the business visit should be stated in detail. The letter should be addressed to “The Embassy of the Republic of Congo” and must be stamped by the local Department of Immigration.
- The letter must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant and must provide detailed contact information in Congo.
- If the company you are meeting up with is covering the financial aspect of your visit to the country, it should be stated in the letter from the company.
- Applicants are to possess a valid medical insurance.
- You cannot be paid for any of the services you render while in the country.
- If you are traveling with a minor, an affidavit signed by both parents of the minor should be provided.
- A receipt indicating that payment has been made for visa application is required.
- Documents which show that you have the incentive of returning to Zambia at the end of your trip should be provided.

Tourist Visa from Zambia to DR Congo
- This visa allows tourists/ visitors to enter DR Congo for sightseeing, recreation, relaxation, and other tourist purposes.
- The tourist visa allows a stay of 3 months.
- Travelers on this visa are not allowed to take up work while in the country.
- For applicants visiting someone in DR Congo, you are required to have a letter of invitation from your host.
- The letter should have the home address, contact details and a valid means of identification.
- For minors, an original copy of your birth certificate should be provided.
- If you are a minor traveling alone, you need a letter of consent signed by both parents.
- If you are traveling with your spouse, a copy of a valid marriage certificate is required.
- It is mandatory for all applicants to have a Yellow Fever vaccination certificate.
- It is recommended that applicants of this visa should be vaccinated against Hepatitis A and B and Tetanus.
- A letter from your employer in Zambia stating a continuity of employment after the duration of your leave should be provided.
- Receipt of paid visa application fees is required.
- There should be proof of the incentive of returning to Zambia after the expiry of your visa.
- The receipt which shows that payment has been made for visa application is required.
- Foreigners are prohibited from taking up work or be paid for the services they render in the country.
