Tourist Visa from Uganda to Sri Lanka
- The Sri Lankan tourist is eligible for Ugandans looking to travel to Sri Lanka for tourism purposes.
- The Sri Lankan tourist visa is valid for 180 days.
- Foreigners can apply for the Sri Lankan tourist visa for the following: sightseeing, visiting friends and relatives, receiving medical treatment including Ayurveda and yoga, and participating in sporting events, competitions, and cultural activities
- You should also consider checking with your transport provider or travel company to make sure your passport and other travel documents meet their requirements.
- Overstaying your visa will attract a fine and possible detention and deportation. If you have overstayed your visa, you must report to the Department of Immigration & Emigration.
- Foreigners bringing in currency of over USD 15,000 (approximately 54,944,250.00 Ugandan Shilling) must be declared.
- If exiting with foreign currency over USD 5,000, the full amount brought in or acquired in Sri Lanka must be declared.
