Tourist Visa from Nigeria to DR Congo
- This is the type of visa issued to persons visiting Congo to take up paid employment.
- If you are a foreigner and have a job ready for you in Congo, you need to get a work visa.
- Getting a Democratic Republic of the Congo work visa can be tough.
- The first hurdle is getting a job in the DRC. Then you will need to wade through mounds of paperwork and government bureaucracy in order to get a work visa.
- You will also need to get authorization and a work permit from the authorities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (“Carte de travail”) and a work contract recognized by the National Employment Office (l’Office National de l’Emploi).
- After you have secured all that stuff above, you can then proceed with your work visa application.
- Proof of yellow fever vaccination is required.
- Proof of payment of visa application fee should be submitted.
