General Requirements for Tunisia Visa
  • Valid national passport which has a validity of 3 months after entry into the country with one blank page for entry stamp.
  • Bank statement which is not older than 3 months from the period of entry to the country. This is proof that you can cater for yourself during the period of your stay in the country.
  • Duly completed application form which has been signed where necessary.
  • One recent passport-size photograph taken with a white background. The passport should follow the photo specification for a visa application.
  • Valid travel insurance.
  • Return and onward ticket.
  • Copy of travel itinerary.
  • Proof of accommodation for the duration of your stay in the country.

Eligibility

  • This is the type of visa issued to persons intending to visit Tunisia for tourism purposes.
  • You can also visit family and friends while on this visa.
  • All visitors to Tunisia must carry a valid passport.
  • Your total stay is counted starting from the day you enter into Tunisia.
  •  Visa applicants intending to visit a friend or family need to submit an invitation letter from a family member or host living in Tunisia.
  • This letter should clearly state the address and contact details of the host, as well as your relationship with them.
  • You will also need to provide proof of the host’s status in Tunisia i.e copy of their Tunisia passport’s information page, or if they are not a citizen of Tunisia, copies of their Tunisia residence permit.
  •  During the visa application, you will need to provide proof of sufficient funds to last the duration of your stay.
  • You are advised to exit the country before your visa expires and present documents that show you have the intention to do so.
  • This visa does not serve study purposes. You cannot be enrolled in any of the institutions of learning in the country.

Eligibility

  • This is the type of visa issued to Nigerians traveling to Tunisia for business purposes.
  • You will need to provide an invitation letter from the Tunisian company you will be visiting.
  • This letter will also contain their detailed address, accompanied with the date and actual purpose of your trip.
  • If the intention is to attend a meeting or seminar, confirmation/invitation from the conference organizer/institution is required.
  • If you are employed, you will have to present a certificate from your employer stating or allowing your business travel.
  • Certificate of business registration of the company you are meeting with in Tunisia is required.
  • If you have had previous business dealings with the company you are meeting with, you are required to present proof of this.
  • Proof of sufficient funds to cover the costs of stay (e.g. bank statement for 2 recent months) is required.
  • Self-employed people may need to submit proof of business registration.
  • You cannot be gainfully employed while you are in the country with this visa.
  • It must be made clear whether your trip will be sponsored by the employer or the local company.
  • Proof of payment of visa application fee should be submitted.
