The Albania tourist visa is a short-stay visa that is issued to foreign nationals who intend to travel to the Republic of Albania and stay for not more than 90 days. Nigerians travelling to Albania for tourism, vacation or other leisure activities are eligible to apply for this visa. You are required to submit a signed and completed visa application form. Incomplete application forms may delay the processing of your visa request. Your Nigerian passport must be valid for at least 3 months from the date you plan to leave the Republic of Albania and have no less than 1 blank passport page for your visa. You should also make a photocopy of your passport bio-data page (that is, the first page of your passport). As proof that you intend to return to your country of origin once your visa expires, you are required to submit a copy of your roundtrip ticket booking. You must as well submit a copy of your hotel booking with information about the accommodation (such as the name of the hotel, contact details) and how long you are booked to lodge there. As proof that you can cater to all your financial needs while in the Republic of Albania(that is, spend at least $47 per day), you must provide copies of your bank statements of the last three months. You are also required to provide proof of your employment status. If you are employed, you should provide a letter from your employer stating the date you were employed, your role in the company and acknowledging your leave from work. If you are self-employed, a copy of business license, the company’s most recent bank statement and your income tax return should be provided. Minors (under 18s) should submit a copy of their birth certificate and a letter of consent from their parents permitting them to travel to Albania. You should present a copy of your travel medical insurance covering the entire duration of your stay in Albania. If you are travelling as a group for tourism, you should submit a notarized photocopy of the licence of Albania Tourism Agency inviting your group. All the documents required should be uploaded online. Then after acceptance of your application, you should submit to the embassy or consular office of the Republic of Albania in your country (or a neighbouring country if there isn’t one in your country.)
