Business Visa from Nigeria to Tanzania
- Business visa is issued to individuals with the aim of carrying out commercial activities or transactions.
- Other uses of Tanzania business visa are conducting special assignments, including repairing machines or running short-term training and for professional roles such as feasibility studies, auditing accounts.
- Applicants of business visa can participate in investments, business meetings, and short term lawful business-related task recognized by Tanzania law and as may be determined by the issuing authority
- After making payments, applicants are required to wait for approval of their Visa before they start their journey.
- The approval message will be sent through emails and can also be accessed by checking visa status online.
- An applicant may track the progress of the application by using the ID Number, which was given during the application stage. To track the application, the applicant will go back to the Visa Application System, then click the Visa Status button.
- Business visa is issued for a maximum period of 90 days and costs 250 USD.
- The visa is issued for only single-entries.
- If the visa application is rejected, paid visa fees will not be refunded.
- An introduction letter from the business partner in Tanzania, stating the reason why the applicant is travelling, who the sponsor of the trip will be and the proposed completion time of the trip is required.
- The applicant’s employer in Nigeria has to write a cover letter stating the applicant took an official leave and will return at the end of the trip.
- Self-employed individuals should present a certificate of business registration and other assets in Nigeria. These will serve as proof that there is the incentive of returning to home country at the expiration of the visa.
- You can extend your visa at the immigration office in Dar es Salaam for three months at a time for a maximum of six months.
